The ICPE2022 will have two types of publications.
Conference Proceedings
The Conference Proceedings are published in the refereed Open Access Proceedings of the IUPAP International Conference on Physics Education 2022, and free to download. Only submissions with at least one presenting author registered for ICPE2022 are published, as conference fees cover the cost of publication. The Conference Proceedings were published before the conference to assist participants in deciding which talks and workshops to attend.
Opportunities for Publication of Papers
Authors whose abstracts/submissions have been published in the Conference Proceedings can submit full papers to any of the following journals for publication. Authors will be required to pay Article Publication Charges (APC), to be provided by the journal. This process will begin after the conference has concluded.

Submissions of full papers on abstracts presented at ICPE 2022 for an IJISME Special Issue, are now open and close on 6th February 2023.
All submissions to IJISME undergo a double-blind review process, acceptance for publication is not guaranteed. The review process will be managed by invited Special Issue Guest Editors. Accepted manuscripts will be published online, open access, and are citable by the digital object identifier (DOI) assigned at the time of publication. IJISME is included in the SCOPUS, EBSCO and ProQuest indexing databases.

- 5 December 2022 – Submissions open
- 6 February 2023 – Submissions close
- April-May 2023 – Editor decision and reviewer feedback returned to authors
- June-July 2023 – Revised manuscripts due
- August 2023 – IJISME Special Issue published
